We are pleased to share some photos showing the progress of our Capital Renovation.
Phase 1 Completed work (Summer/Fall 2025): The roof was been replaced and beautiful copper flashing installed - these will last for decades to come. Also, a much needed lightning protection system has been installed.
Phase 1 exterior work will be continue in late spring with masonry work (brick pointing), and Mosaic restoration later on.
Phase 2 interior began in March 2026 with repairs the electrical inside of the church and restoration of light fixtures.
Phase 2 continued: Painting of interior is planned for May. Repairs to the iconostasis will take place during this time as well. After the painting we will be installing a new sound system. Later on after that we will begin upgrading the carpeting/flooring.
Phase 3 Beatification projects are planned to begin after interior painting and will include renewed stenciling and additional iconography. There will be many opportunities for individual sponsorships in this phase.
